My cousin is going to be applying for a course and she needs to know the difference between accountancy accounting.

What is the difference between Accounting and Economics degrees?
- I’m an economics major..but i hear that accounting majors take many of the same classes as I do. I also hear that economics majors can get the same jobs as accounting majors….
is this true? if this is true, that would be great because you always see ads that say “accountants needed”, but not really “economist needed”.

What software is used? And how is it relenvantto the field of accounting? Is it used in accounts payable? Recieveable? Payroll? Taxes? The most common programs would help. If you can list 3 or more it would be a plus.

I have a BA in Economics and want to get a masters in accounting online while working full time. I’m not interested in MBA. I just want MS in Accounting. Thanks for your answer.

I own a Corporation, being the sole shareholder. I have loaned the Corporation money. What is this called in accounting when I do the books? I know a shareholder loan is when the Corporation loans money to the shareholder. I think, possibly it is capital or equity, but I could be wrong. And does anyone know what ledger number it is given. I believe it goes in the 3000′s. Are there any accountants or bookkeepers out there that can shed some light on this?
